-MODIFIED MARCH OF 2018-New Age Christianity is a global community, welcoming people from every discipline and culture who seek a deeper understanding of the world and themselves. While gathering information about the people who use New Age Christianity sites, our apps, platforms and related sites (collectively referred to as “New Age Christianity”), we take your privacy very seriously, and make every effort to safeguard your personal data. This privacy policy is intended to inform you of what information we collect, how this information is used and what steps we take to protect this information.
What Information We Collect
We collect three kinds of information:

Information You Provide Directly To Us
Account Information
When you register an account with us, we ask for basic information such as email, name and password, and give you the option to provide other information. If you create an account through another user profile (such as Facebook, or other social media) then they will send us your information from your profile to use in accordance with our Privacy Policy. At times, you may be asked to provide additional information, such as payment for conference registration or module access. We also collect activities you generate by favoriting, saving or watching talks.

When required for donations, conference registration, product purchases or other services, we may store your name, address, telephone number and email address. We do not store credit card numbers except for the last 4 digits. This information will only be shared with third parties who perform tasks required to complete the purchase transaction.

Comments and other public activities
We offer you opportunities to engage in public activities on NewAgeChristianity.org. “Public activities” are any actions you take that are designed to be visible to other users — including comments, recommendations and ratings. If you choose to engage in public activities, any personal information you submit there can be read, collected or used by other users of these areas. While the New Age Christianity community itself is a private invitation only community, your account is public to the rest of the community by default. Please refer to the Community Guidelines about how to best take advantage of our interactive spaces.
We are not responsible for personally identifiable information you choose to submit in these forums. Information shared here could be used by others, potentially to send you unsolicited messages. If the information posted publicly is not consistent with our terms of use, your content may be removed. For more information, see the New Age Christianity Terms of Use.
Tracking information for our site
This type of information relates to how many views are associated with each post on New Age Christianity, how many times posts are saved or favorited, and/or other areas of the site that automatically store non-personal information about the sites’ usage, popularity or positive/negative impact. We perform statistical analyses of users of the site, and their viewing and participation patterns, for content development purposes and to generally inform our decision making processes.
Non-Personal Information Collected Automatically

Changes to this privacy policy
This privacy policy may be amended from time to time. When the policy is updated, the date of the last update will appear at the top of the privacy policy. If we make material changes, you will be notified here for a period of 30-60 days based on our last update.
Accessing and updating your personal information
Whenever you use our services, we aim to provide you with access to your personal information. If that information is wrong, we strive to give you ways to update it quickly or to delete it – unless we have to keep that information for legitimate business or legal purposes. When updating your personal information, we may ask you to verify your identity before we can act on your request.
We may reject requests that are unreasonably repetitive, require disproportionate technical effort (for example, developing a new system or fundamentally changing an existing practice), risk the privacy of others, or would be extremely impractical (for instance, requests concerning information residing on backup systems).
Where we can provide information access and correction, we will do so for free, except where it would require a disproportionate effort. We aim to maintain our services in a manner that protects information from accidental or malicious destruction. Because of this, after you delete information from our services, we may not immediately delete residual copies from our active servers and may not remove information from our backup systems.
Deactivating your account and managing privacy settings
You can request that your account be deactivated at any time by contacting us. When your account is deactivated, your user profile and all public activities (such as comments) will be hidden. To unsubscribe from our newsletters, click on the link at the bottom of a newsletter you have received, or you can manage your subscriptions from your culture profile.
